Electrical energy plays a key role in all modern companies. Its diverse applications range from lighting, cooling and heating to drive technology and control systems. Just as large and varied is the range of tasks performed by electrical engineers who specialise in industrial applications. It encompasses assembly and maintenance of lighting systems, control and drive systems and signalling technology. Electrical engineers stand out for their characteristics of autonomy, independence and project-orientation. They learn their trade through training courses and project work.
