Metal technology specialist in the field of assembly technology (m/f/d)
Metal technology specialists specializing in assembly technology use joining techniques to manufacture machines and systems from individual parts. They prepare work processes, deal with the production and assembly order and associated documents, such as assembly plans and parts lists, and plan the work steps. Required components are manufactured using manual or mechanical production processes. They assemble the components into assemblies in the correct position and function, for example by screwing, pinning or riveting, welding or soldering. They also assemble cables and electrical components. In doing so, they observe circuit and function diagrams. They assemble compressors or compressed air dryers from components and groups. They also set required functions and check whether the manufactured products function as intended.
